Trivia Night - October 11, 2024
Let the Games Begin! Join us for our Trivia Night Fundraiser hosted at the American Legion on Fenton Street. Registration opens at 6:30 p.m. Register at the door for your team to play. Each team fee is $50 and team size can be as large as 6 people. Trivia starts at 7:30 p.m. There will be prizes and a cash only bar. Have some fun with us!
Harmony Concert Series - Firefly on October 11
Join us for our next evening concert at the St. Paul's Village Venue from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. The Concert is free, and we will welcome and accept donations to the Waddington Historical Association. Firefly is a four-piece folk/pop cover band from Potsdam including Mark Seymour, Ryan Deuel, and Matt Bullwinkel. The group is inspired by Friday night fire sitting and artists like Madison Cunningham, Rufus Wainwright, and Bonnie Raitt.
This year's Concert Series is dedicated to the memory of Kathy Hubbard,
former MWCS music teacher.
The Lost Villages Revisited - Our Annual Celebration of History
Join us on Sunday, October 20th at the Waddington Town Hall from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Jim Brownell, author of Through the Lands of the Lost Villages will share his presentation featuring archival images of the Canadian villages and hamlets that stood in the way of the Hydro and Seaway projects of the 1950s. Event is free to the public and will include an exhibit of How Waddington was Changed by the Seaway.
